High-risk offender released, moving to Millbrook area: N.S. RCMP

Nova Scotia RCMP is advising residents that a high-risk offender is being released from a federal institution on Monday. The RCMP believes he’s moving to the province from New Brunswick.

Robert Edgar Paul, 35, has an “extensive and persistent” criminal history dating back to 2005, police say.

His convictions include violent and non-violent offences. During his most recent term he’d served for convictions such as:

• dangerous operation of a conveyance causing bodily harm
• uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm

Police describe Paul as being five-foot-eight and 185 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes.

While he isn’t required to tell police where he’ll be living, the RCMP suspects he’ll be living in the Millbrook area.
