Two artists behind some of the biggest pop songs of the 2000s will be headlining the Magnetic World Music Festival at Halifax’s Citadel Hill this September. Akon, best known for singles like “Smack That,” “Don’t Matter” and “I Wanna Love You,” will be headlining the fifth edition of the festival on Sept. 26. He will be joined by co-headliner Ne-Yo, responsible for hits like “So Sick.” On Sept. 25, rappers Sexyy Red and Swae Lee, along with DJ Alesso, will perform. Tickets are now on sale.
