Over six thousand visitors attended Crabbe Mountain’s Fall Festival of Colours between Oct. 3 and Oct. 11. The event included local vendors, hayrides and views of the fall colours from the ski hill’s chairlift. “The turnout has been fabulous this year, I think we’ve added a few more vendors,” general manager Jessica Spalding said. “It’s a way to support the community and businesses.” The event is also one way the hill brings in money outside of the ski season. “It’s really important for Crabbe to look at this as a multi-season venue, because we need to bring in revenues during the off-season to support the ski-season,” she said.
