Saint John Police Force (SJPF) arrested a 36-year-old man in relation to an investigation into an aggravated sexual assault on a minor. Police say they arrested the man without incident on Thursday at approximately 12:30 p.m. at an address in Kingston Peninsula for the following offences: Police responded to a call from the hospital about a person under the age of 16 who had sustained injuries on Jan. 15 at approximately 1:30 p.m., said a news release. In response, SJPF Family Protection Unit opened an investigation. The suspect was held in custody and will appear in court Friday.
