How much gas prices went down in the Maritimes overnight

The price of gas decreased overnight in Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island, while prices increased slightly in New Brunswick.

Nova Scotia

The price of regular self-serve gasoline decreased by 7.2 cents in Nova Scotia. The new minimum price is 178.4 cents per litre in the Halifax area.

Diesel prices decreased by 12.1 cents. The minimum price is now 206.0 cents per litre.

In Cape Breton, the new minimum price of regular self-serve gasoline is 180.4 cents per litre. The minimum price for diesel is 207.9 cents per litre.

Prince Edward Island

The price of regular self-serve gasoline decreased for the third time this week on P.E.I. – this time by 6.4 cents. The new minimum price is 185.0 cents per litre.

The price of diesel decreased by 6.4 cents to a new minimum price of 219.5 cents per litre.

New Brunswick

In New Brunswick, the price of regular self-serve gasoline increased by 1.6 cents per litre to a new maximum price of 187.6 cents per litre.

Diesel prices decreased by 2.3 cents. The maximum price is now 223.8 cents per litre.
