A recreational diver is missing in the waters off Victoria.
The rescue co-ordination centre says the man failed to surface just before noon yesterday and rescue efforts began immediately.
Several military aircraft from CFB Comox joined coast guard vessels and a U.S. coast guard helicopter in the search around Race Rocks, southwest of Victoria.
No sign of the diver was spotted yesterday and crews are back on the water this morning.
