Police arrested a 25-year-old man Thursday evening after he threatened people with a knife at a Shoppers Drug Mart in Saanich.
Police responded to a call about an armed man at Uptown Mall just before 6 p.m.
The man was found quickly and taken into police custody, officials say.
Nobody was hurt during the incident.
The man will appear in court Friday morning on weapons charges.
