Victoria resident Todd Smith, 40, has been identified as the motorcyclist killed in a crash on the Malahat Highway, north of Victoria.
The coroner says Smith was riding northbound on August 30th when he slammed into a southbound pickup truck towing a trailer.
Smith died at the scene.
An investigation of the crash is continuing.
