Eighty more B.C. firefighters are heading to Alberta to help battle the vicious wildfires near Fort McMurray.

The provincial government says four unit crews will arrive in Hinton on Sunday, while an agency representative will follow later in the week.

The teams can be deployed for up to 19 days, but can be recalled at any time should conditions change in B.C.

The province says the current level of fire activity in B.C. and decreased forecast for blazes has allowed the crews to lend assistance in both Alberta and Ontario.
