One of the youngest bikers is celebrating crossing the Gordie Howe International Bridge with training wheels. Patrick, 3, rode his training wheel bike over the new bridge from Windsor to Detroit on Sunday . His mom Katie Lagace submitted photos to CTV News with Patrick riding alongside his dad and his little sister Emma. She said it took them about an hour round trip. “He had such a blast and yelled thank you to everyone that cheered him on,” said Lagace. She said he had a big bowl of chocolate ice cream after to celebrate. The new multi-use path opened to the public on Aug. 5. The total length of travel on the path from each border inspection booth is three kilometres one-way, with a five per cent grade (incline).
