Injuries reported following $400,000 house fire in Windsor

Damage following a fire late on the night of Thursday, May 28, 2026 at a home at 868 Tuscarora Street near Marentette Avenue in Windsor.

Injuries are reported following a house fire in Windsor.

Windsor Fire and Rescue crews were called around 10:30 p.m. Thursday to a fire at 868 Tuscarora Street near Marentette Avenue.

Two people were taken to the hospital for treatment, including one person with burns to their arm, while another person was treated at the scene.

Five people have been displaced.

Officials say the fire originated in the bedroom.

The damage is estimated at $400,000.
