The Gordie Howe International Bridge multi-use path has reopened after it was temporarily closed due to bad weather. The Windsor-Detroit Bridge Authority posted the update around 10:30 a.m. Monday morning on the bridge social media pages. Thunderstorms and lightning were impacting the region near the bridge earlier in the day. The path opened to the public on Aug. 5. WDBA officials encourage users to review path rules and guidelines before planning their journey.
