U.S. Customs and Borner Protection (CBP) agriculture K9 Caesar had a successful bust this week, stopping undeclared produce from entering the U.S. It happened at Detroit Metropolitan Airport. The beagle sniffed his way to undeclared mangoes, avocados, corn, garlic, and cassava. The produce was brought in by a Ugandan national. The CBP reminds that agricultural items can bring in foreign pests and disease that are not wanted. All agriculture items must be declared.
