In my corner of Saanich we woke up to our first frost this morning. I snapped this photo as I walked my son to school in the brisk 3°C air! It was fun to bundle up and step out into the crisp fall air, only to take in the contrast between the bright sunshine and the fragile coating of ice crystals. Our dog, Princess, was not amused! The kids at school especially enjoyed being able to see their warm breaths in the cool air. Only a couple of hours later I was at a Victoria playground taping a couple of 3 year old girls playing in a pile of dry crisp leaves. Thanks kids, for reminding me how much fun it is to play in different weather conditions. You made my day.
