Police in Delta are trying to identify a driver they say may have information that could assist their investigation into a woman’s suspicious death. On Aug. 26, a woman’s body was found in a field in the 6400 block of River Road, prompting an initial statement from police who said they were working to determine the woman’s identity and her cause of death. On Monday, the Delta Police Department released a photo of a white Dodge Ram 1500 Quad Cab and asked for help identifying the driver. “As the investigation continues, police are now appealing to the public for information, including dash-cam or CCTV footage,” reads a statement from the department. “Investigators would like to speak to the driver of the vehicle, as they may have information that could assist the investigation.” Anyone who recognizes the vehicle or has information about its movements on the evening of Aug. 25 and morning of Aug. 26 is urged to call 604-946-4444 and quote file number 26-16041.
