Woman struck by vehicle in Brampton suffers serious injuries

A pedestrian has been seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle in Brampton on Friday afternoon.

The incident happened in the area of Bovaird Drive and Castlemore Road around 1:30 p.m.

Peel paramedics tell CP24 that a woman in her 30s was taken to a local hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

It is not immediately clear whether the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene.
