Saskatchewan RCMP are asking for the public’s help after hundreds of litres of gasoline were stolen from a business in a rural community west of Saskatoon. On July 2, Kindersley RCMP were informed of a theft from a business in Dodsland, a village located around 170 kilometres west of Saskatoon. An investigation by police determined around 300 litres of fuel were stolen from the business. Video footage from the scene captured a burgundy-coloured Ford F-250 with auxiliary fuel tanks visiting the business around 4:15 a.m. The truck did not have a license plate. Two people, a man and woman, were seen getting out of the truck and siphoning gas. At the time of the incident, one of them was wearing a dark-coloured hoodie, while the other was wearing a light-coloured hoodie. Both wore face coverings. Kindersley RCMP continue to investigate the theft and ask anyone who has information on the theft or who has seen the suspects’ truck to contact police or Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers.
