The Correctional Service of Canada (CSC) says a 62-year-old man has died while in custody in Saskatoon. In a news release published Tuesday, CSC says Steeve Racine died on Aug. 7. He’d been serving a life sentence since Aug. 30, 1991. His next of kin has been notified. CSC will review the circumstances, as they do with all in-custody deaths. Local police and the coroner have been notified, as required under CSC policy.
