One man is facing several charges after a drug trafficking investigation in Prince Albert turned up cocaine, a rifle and 20 guitars. In early September, the Prince Albert Police Service (PAPS) Crime Reduction Team (CRT) began an investigation into suspected cocaine trafficking in the city. On Sept. 16, a man was arrested during a traffic stop and taken into custody, while his vehicle was seized. A search warrant of a home in the 800 block of 6th Street East led to the discovery of almost 350 grams of cocaine, 115 grams of MDMA, 188 hydromorphone pills, marijuana, a rifle, and 20 guitars valued at $20,000. The 35-year-old man has been charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking and multiple firearms-related offences.
