Another Saskatoon overpass was struck by a semi Wednesday afternoon, causing minor damage to the structure. Saskatoon police say they received a report around 2:30 p.m. that a semi hauling a trailer had struck the overpass at Ruth Street and Lorne Avenue. Police say the damage was reported to be minor, and city engineers assessed the structure and cleared the scene. “The City of Saskatoon has inspected the structure and observed some minor damage. The truck has been removed and there are no traffic restrictions in place,” the city said in a statement. This is the seventh time an overpass has been hit by a vehicle in Saskatoon this year.
