Spring has officially arrived in Saskatchewan

Daily highs are still staying above seasonal averages for at least one more day before things start to get a bit cooler. Sabeen Ahmad has your full forecast.

Friday marks the first official day of spring, bringing more hours of daylight and warmer weather.

Heading into the weekend, Regina will continue to see above-seasonal temperatures, following very warm weather earlier this week, including a high of 12 C on Thursday.

Saturday is slated to be slightly cooler, with a daytime high of 3 C and cloud cover, while Sunday will bring a return of sunny skies, though overnight temperatures will remain below freezing.

There remains a chance of some precipitation.

Spring in Saskatchewan lasts from March 20, (spring equinox) until the summer solstice on June 21.
