Regina police have charged two people in connection with 14 separate thefts at a business in the 5000 block of 4th Avenue North. According to a news release, the first incident happened on March 9, when the suspects allegedly entered the store and stole merchandise without paying. Police say similar incidents continued at the same location until April 8. The following day, investigators with the Regina Police Criminal Investigative Unit — with help from the Front Line Support Unit — identified the two suspects. On April 9 at around 3:15 p.m., officers located the suspects in the area of Connaught Place. Both were arrested without incident. A 30-year-old woman has been charged with 14 counts of shoplifting under $5,000. The other suspect was a 38-year-old man who has been charged with 12 counts of shoplifting under $5,000. Both made their first appearance in Regina Provincial Court on April 10.
