One person taken to hospital following collision between vehicle and pedestrian in Regina

One person was taken to hospital following a collision between a vehicle and a pedestrian in the early hours of Saturday morning.

Around 4:40 a.m., Regina police asked the public to avoid the area of 5th Avenue and Rae Street as they investigated a collision.

In an update just after 4 p.m., police said one person was taken to hospital by EMS with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

The road has since been reopened, and police say the investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
