Mounties in Sidney are looking for a man who robbed a pizza shop at gunpoint late Friday night.

A manager at the Panago Pizza on Bevan Avenue told CTV News the business was targeted before closing.

Police say an armed man entered the store, went behind the counter and had an employee empty the till.

The robber got away with a small amount of cash.

No one was injured in the robbery. 

The suspect is described as Caucasian, has blond hair and an athletic build. He was wearing a black long-sleeved hoodie, green camouflage pants, a balaclava and gloves.

Anyone with information is asked to call Sidney RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
