Average highs for this time of year are around 17 C, while lows are typically around 8 C. Higher temperatures are in the forecast through the weekend, with a high of 22 C on Friday, with a sunny sky. A few clouds could be expected on Saturday and Sunday, with highs of 23 C each day, but no precipitation is predicted. Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday of next week are all seeing forecast highs of 23 C and a few clouds. Lows are expected to return to seasonal norms as of Friday night. Ottawa has not seen any significant rain since Sept. 9, when 19.6 millimetres of rain was recorded at the Ottawa airport. There were small amounts of rain on Sept. 13 and 15, with both days seeing less than 1 mm.
