Greater Sudbury police say a 25-year-old man died Tuesday in a multi-vehicle crash around 4:45 p.m. on Big Nickel Mine Road. The collision included a commercial motor vehicle and three passenger vehicles, police said in a news release Wednesday morning. All vehicles were travelling northbound near Dynamic Earth when the crash occurred. Police said they don’t believe impaired driving or speed were a factor in the collision. “One of the drivers, a 25-year-old man, was transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries and was subsequently pronounced deceased by medical professionals, while the other involved parties did not sustain any serious injuries,” police said. Police continue to investigate the collision and ask anyone who witnessed the incident or who was driving in the area at the time and may have dash camera footage to them.
