A southern Ontario man accused of murdering a man found dead inside a truck parked in a Sudbury garage was arrested at a Toronto airport Wednesday, police say. The body of a 21-year-old man was found with multiple gunshot wounds April 6 inside a Black 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 inside the garage of a Lansdowne Street home. Four people in their early- to mid-20s were previously charged with being accessories to murder in the targeted attack. Detectives issued an arrest warrant for Joseph Alba, 27, who is believed to be responsible for the fatal shooting. He was arrested at Pearson International Airport shortly after 2 p.m. May 21 with the help of the Canadian Border Services Agency, Sudbury police said in an update Friday. Alba is charged with second-degree murder and “numerous firearm-related offences,” police said. He was transported back to Greater Sudbury and held overnight in police custody, where he remains after attending bail court Thursday. None of the charges have been proven in court.
