An 88-year-old from Noëlville was killed in a two-vehicle crash in the south end of Sudbury on Monday afternoon. Ontario Provincial Police said the crash happened around 4 p.m. on Highway 69 between Richard Lake and Estaire Road. Three other people were rushed to hospital, one of whom had life-altering injuries. The other two have serious but non-life-threatening injuries. The highway was closed for several hours but reopened late Monday evening. “The OPP collision reconstructionist and members of the traffic collision investigation team continue to assist,” the OPP said in a news release.
