A 65-year-old North Saanich man is dead after his motorcycle collided with a vehicle near Victoria’s airport on Sunday.
Police say the crash happened on Mills Road, between Littlewood Road and McDonald Park Road, around 12:30 p.m.
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene while two occupants of an SUV involved in the crash, a 66-year-old North Saanich woman and a three-year-old, were unharmed.
The investigation led to a road closure for several hours and the vehicles involved were seized.
Police say the motorcyclist’s family has been notified of the death.
Investigators are now looking for a witness who provided initial information on the scene.
