From the first time she strapped on a pair of tap shoes and put pen to paper, Lisa has had a flair for the creative. She was born in Winnipeg, and raised partly in Mississauga, before moving with her family to the Saanich Peninsula in 1992.
After a brief stint in Milan as a professional model in 1998, Lisa studied English at the University of Victoria, and then enrolled in the Applied Communications Program at Camosun College.
Since 2004, Lisa has been a television creative producer, working with commercial clients and community partners. In 2013, she began writing radio ads for sister stations 107.3 Kool FM and CFAX 1070. Not one to rest on her laurels, Lisa is also a seasoned voice over artist and has helped to organize two successful station fashion shows supporting Cops for Cancer Tour de Rock and CFAX Santas Anonymous.
Over the years, she has also co-hosted “Soap’s Up,” a national soap opera gossip segment and “On the Island,” a community calendar report. As a shopaholic and pop-culture/trend enthusiast, she loves her current role hosting StyleFile, CTV Vancouver Island’s weekly style segment where she’ll explore fashion and beauty with an island twist.
Lisa is fluent in French and has a passion for travel. She loves dancing, yoga, animals, movies and reading anything strange or disturbing.
