Man abducted in Beauce, Que. found, 3 suspects to be questioned

A man in his 30s who was reportedly abducted in Quebec’s Beauce region has been found, according to the Sûreté du Québec (SQ).

Three suspects have been taken into custody and are expected to be questioned later in the day.

The victim was allegedly taken from a residence in the municipality of Scott during the night from Tuesday to Wednesday.

The SQ confirmed that he was found at 8:30 a.m. in Saint-Tite-des-Caps in the Capitale-Nationale region, about an hour away.

According to initial information gathered by the SQ, the suspects apparently arrived at the home on Jean-Baptiste Street around midnight.

They allegedly forced the man into a vehicle and fled the scene.

Three suspects were with the man when he was found.

They remain in custody pending investigation.

Witnesses are also expected to be interviewed.
