Tickets sell out for Canadiens Game 7 viewing party at the Bell Centre

Montreal Canadiens fans able to shake off their Game 6 trauma and wanting to be as close to the action as possible, can again enter the Bell Centre for a special Game 7 viewing party tomorrow night.

“The Habs are heading back to Tampa, but the Bell Centre will be rocking just as hard as Benchmark International Arena on Sunday as the team looks to pack the building for the biggest postseason viewing party in town on the arena’s central scoreboard,” the team said.

Tickets for Sunday’s watch party went on sale at 10 a.m. and sold out within the hour.

The game starts at 6 p.m.

The Canadiens lost a heartbreaking 1-0 overtime game to a Lightning goal from Gage Goncalves on Friday night to force a game seven in the first round series.

Doors for the event open a half hour before the game.

The first 8,000 fans will get a 2026 Canadiens Playoff towel and alumni will be in attendance for selfie ops.

Youppi! and METAL! will be on hand all game.

METAL!, for those wondering, is the Habs blue, goateed “unofficial mascot”, who announced his “retirement” from live hockey games in 2023 after reappearing in 2022.

“The mascot’s original gig with the Canadiens throughout the 1980s and into the early ’90s went on hiatus after a night of bad choices partying with the club following the 1993 Cup win,” the team said. “Those events saw METAL! fall asleep in an ice machine in the Forum basement and spend the next three decades in suspended animation.”

He returned for the 2025-2026 season.
