A London man is facing impaired-driving charges after a single-vehicle crash in the city’s south end over the weekend. London police said officers were called to Euclid Avenue near Wharncliffe Road South at about 1:10 p.m. on Saturday after a vehicle travelling eastbound struck two parked vehicles and rolled onto its roof. According to police, the driver got out of the vehicle and attempted to flee the scene. Witnesses called police and a bystander restrained the man until officers arrived and took him into custody. No injuries were reported. Following an investigation a 46 year old of London, has been charged with impaired operation of a vehicle and failing to comply with a demand made by a peace officer. Police said the suspect was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in a London courtroom on Nov. 12 in relation to the charges.
