Multiple injuries are being reported in a serious collision north of Guelph. The Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) said the multi-vehicle crash at the intersection of Highway 6 and Wellington Road 22 happened around 12:15 p.m. Thursday. “All roads within the vicinity of the intersection of Highway 6 and Wellington Road 22 are closed for the next several hours and the public is asked to use alternate routes. No expected time of reopening,” a news release published by the OPP at 1:25 p.m. said. Wellington Road 22/8th Line is closed from Campbell Road to Wellington Road 7. Highway 6 is closed from Wellington Road 51 to 6th Line. Police have not said how many people were injured, or what the extent of their injuries were. The investigation is still in its early stages.
