Extensive damage to Sidney home after fire

VICTORIA -- VICTORIA – A house in Sidney was extensively damaged in a fire on Saturday.

Sidney Fire Department said no one was injured during the fire at the single family home on Beacon Avenue West.

The blaze was under control by 5 p.m., but the cause of the fire is not known at this time.

Traffic was being rerouted by Sidney RCMP as Beacon Avenue West was closed.
