Kind Ice Cream is offering free kids scoops Monday - but they’re not for kids. The Edmonton ice cream shop will be doling out free ice cream for eligible voters, regardless of how they cast their ballots in the Oct. 19 Alberta referendum. Electors will have to show proof that they voted in-person or by mail. The shop says on social media that proof could be a selfie outside your polling station or your special ballot request confirmation. All three Kind Ice Cream locations will be participating. Voters will get a free kids scoop in a cup or a sugar cone. Polling station workers can pick up a free scoop on Tuesday.
