Temperatures to slowly climb into Tuesday

The temperatures will slowly climb, but you still have to be prepared for a cold Tuesday morning.

It will feel more like -24 with the wind chill when heading to work and school.

Lots of sunshine and a push of warmer air from the south should get us just above the freezing mark in the afternoon in Calgary.

We will get up to 7C on Wednesday and 8C, Thursday. Thursday night, winter weather will return. This will be a significant snowfall. At this point it looks like 3-5 cm of snow Thursday night, then 5-10 cm Friday. We will keep you updated on this as we get closer. It will get cold again for Friday and the weekend.
