Sunny skies and warm weather headed to Calgary for the weekend

The blast of snow will melt away this weekend as Calgary expects temperatures in the high teens.

Get ready for a beautiful weekend, Calgary.

Thursday’s heavy snow has stopped in the city and the temperature will start to climb while we are sleeping. On Friday, expect to wake up to slick roads and a bit of a wind chill, but temperatures in the city should get above freezing in the afternoon.

There will be a good amount of cloud cover with some sunny breaks. It will be a little unstable on Friday so there is a small chance of a brief pocket of precipitation.

By the weekend, it’s all sunshine and warm temperatures. We will be in the midteens by Sunday and have a good chance of hitting 20 C by Tuesday.
