Smoke billowed from the roof of a home in Calgary’s Bridgeland community Wednesday morning. Firefighters were called to the home at Sixth Street and Third Avenue N.E. just after 6 a.m. They found a working fire in what appeared to be a newer-build home. Around two dozen firefighters were there, along with four fire engines and other firefighting equipment, which drew neighbours to their windows or lawns.
