BC Ferries announces half-price fares for select March sailings

Passenger fares will be half-price on select sailings next month, BC Ferries announced.

The 50 per cent discount will be in effect from Mar 11 to 30.

The discount is applicable on regular passenger fares for adults, seniors, students and people with disabilities. Kids 11 and under will travel for free.

The promotion will be in effect on select sailings on South Coast routes Mar 11 to 30, not including Fridays.

The discount will apply to all sailings on North Coast routes servicing Port Hardy, Prince Rupert, Haida Gwaii and Alliford Bay and Skidegate as well as the Discovery Coast Connector.

“With more than 2,000 sailings to choose from, we hope our customers and their families will take advantage of these savings,” said Janet Carson, BC Ferries’ Vice President of Marketing and Travel Services.

The discount is also available on several BC Ferries vacation packages.

Customers who receive a year-round discount that is less than 50 per cent will have their discount increased to match the promotion, BC Ferries says.
