Recent water quality testing shows elevated bacteria levels at Beach Area 1. Swim advisories are precautionary and can occur when conditions such as heat, waves, rainfall or heavy use affect water quality. Wasaga Beach advises: Advisories are lifted once bacteria levels return to normal levels. Wasaga staff will continue to monitor water quality and share updates as more information becomes available.
