Two new family physicians coming to Collingwood

The town of Collingwood has announced that two family doctors will open up practices this year.

Dr. Joseph Morley and Dr. Zahra Daya have signed agreements through Collingwood’s Physician Incentive Program.

Through a press release, Collingwood mayor Yvonne Hamlin said the town is excited to welcome the two physicians to the community.

“We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Morley and Dr. Daya to Collingwood,” said Mayor Hamlin. “Their addition represents important progress in improving access to primary care in our community and reflects the continued success of Council’s Physician Incentive Program in attracting highly skilled healthcare professionals.”

Both doctors were trained in the United Kingdom.

Both physicians are expected to relocate to Collingwood and begin practicing in the community no later than November 1, 2026.
