One airlifted to hospital after crash involving motorcycle in Pontypool

OPP in Kawartha Lakes are investigating a serious collision involving a motorcycle and a pick up truck that occurred on Highway 35 in Pontypool.

According to police, shortly after 4:00 p.m. on April 3, officers responded to a collision on Highway 35 following reports of a collision.

The driver of the motorcycle was airlifted to a Toronto-area hospital with serious injuries.

Highway 35 was closed for a period of time between Drum Road and Sandy Hook Road as an investigation took place. The road has since reopened.

Police say the investigation is ongoing and anyone with dashcam footage or those who witnessed the collision are asked to call Kawartha Lakes OPP.
