A playground at a childcare centre has suffered serious damage worth thousands of dollars, police say. Police are investigating two instances of broken playground equipment at a childcare centre in Bracebridge. Photos provided by the OPP show a broken door, picnic table and toy. On Monday, officers say they responded to a complaint of significant damage to not only the playground but the property also. Investigators say trespassers barged through the locked area at some point between Friday and Monday. The first time the playground was damaged happened earlier this month between July 3 and 6. Anyone with information is asked to contact Bracebridge OPP or Crime Stoppers as the investigation remains ongoing.
