The Barrie Baycats have released their 2026 regular season schedule, and there will be even more opportunities for fans to catch them in action.

The number of games being played for the upcoming season has increased to 48 games, up from the 42 played in 2025. This allows every team to face each opponent six times during the season - three times at home, and three times on the road.

Barrie’s home opener will take place Thurs., May 14 against the Toronto Maple Leafs at Athletic Kulture Stadium, with first pitch being thrown at 7:38 p.m.

Notable events of the upcoming season include a Canada Day matchup that sees the Baycats travel to London to take on the Majors, and the Canadian Baseball League’s All-Star Weekend which takes place on July 11 and 12 in Chatham-Kent.

Single game tickets for the 2026 season will go on sale Friday. For fans looking to get their hands on season tickets or flex packs, those will also go on sale Friday with special one-day-only early bird pricing.

The Baycats have released printable and downloadable versions of the 2026 schedule on their website alongside desktop and mobile wallpapers for fans to start counting down the days until the big day.
