9th line closed at Hwy. 400 due to Bradford Bypass construction

Starting today, residents can expect delays in the Bradford West Gwillimbury area as the construction ramps up on the new bypass.

Crews will be working between Artesian Industrial Parkway and Highway 400, which means a road closure at the 9th Line exit on Hwy. 400.

9th Line traffic will be redirected to County Road 88 between 5th Sideroad and Sideroad 10.

Crews will be building new interchanges and replacing bridges, which will mean temporary structures and large construction equipment in the area during the course of the construction.

On the 9th Line crews will build new north and southbound Hwy. 400 bridges and Bradford bypass ramp bridges.

Construction is expected to last for three years.
