A downtown Halifax restaurant is set to transform into a high-energy dance venue this New Year’s Eve. Lot Six will become Club 6: Solstice Edition, an immersive nightlife experience created by local artist and DJ, KAYO. “What you see here – this beautiful dining experience - turns into a sleek, high-energy vibe,” KAYO said. The one-night event features curated lighting, themed decor, a dress code and signature cocktails, with music front and centre. And the music is just an intentional – built as a real-time platform for local talent. “If you got a rollout going, if you got an album going, come here and premiere it at Solstice,” said KAYO. Joining him behind the decks is fellow DJ Badi, who says the event aims to bring energy during an otherwise quiet time of year. “Things can be a little drab, so I like bringing a fun and positive attitude to people’s lives,” said Badi. The DJs promise an elevated experience to ring in the new year. “We’re pulling out all the stops,” said Badi. Club 6: Solstice Edition takes place New Year’s Eve at Lot Six in downtown Halifax.
