A 19-year-old from Dartmouth, N.S., has been charged after a robbery in Lower Sackville on Monday. Officers responded to a reported robbery at a business in the 700 block of Sackville Drive around 6:40 p.m. “Officers learned that a man had left the store without paying for several items and, when confronted by staff, produced a knife,” reads a news release from the Nova Scotia RCMP. He left the business on foot, reportedly wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt, black cargo pants, and carrying a green reusable shopping bag. Police attended the scene and located a man matching the description. “He was arrested and searched, and a knife and the stolen items were recovered,” reads the news release.
