A man is in hospital after a shooting at a homeless encampment in Dartmouth, N.S., Wednesday afternoon. Halifax Regional Police responded to the shooting in Green Road Park around 2:30 p.m. Officers found a man suffering from a gunshot wound at the scene. He was taken to hospital with serious injuries. “There is a heavy police presence at Green Road Park,” said Halifax police “The investigation is in the early stages; however, police do not believe this is a random incident.” No other details are available at this time.
