Halifax RCMP seek man wanted on provincewide arrest warrant for assault

Halifax RCMP is seeking information regarding the whereabouts of a man wanted on a provincewide arrest warrant.

Darren Trevor Jackson, 54, from Musquodoboit Harbour, faces the following charges:

• assault causing bodily harm (three counts)
• assault with a weapon (three counts)
• dangerous operation of a motor vehicle (two counts)
• failure to comply with court order

Jackson is described as five-foot-nine, 230 pounds, with grey and brown hair and brown eyes.

RCMP is asking for public assistance are making several attempts to locate Jackson. He was last seen in the Colchester County area, said a news release.

Anyone with information about Jackson’s whereabouts is asked to contact the RCMP Halifax Regional Detachment, local police, or Crime Stoppers, should they wish to remain anonymous.
